Albion Summer Garden Party 2026

Join us for a day of community, friendship and fun at Albion Community Church and Wellbeing Hub on Saturday 27th June from 10:30am until 3:00pm.

Our annual Summer Garden Party is a celebration of everything that makes our community special. Whether you are a regular visitor to Albion or have never been before, everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed afternoon filled with activities, entertainment, food and opportunities to connect with others.

This year’s Garden Party also marks the culmination of Small Charity Week, celebrating the vital contribution that local charities, voluntary groups and community organisations make to life in Tameside. Throughout the day, a number of local charities and organisations will be based in the front of the church, providing an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the support, services and activities available within our community.

There will be something for all ages, including a bouncy castle, games and activities, community stalls, local organisations, music, refreshments and a BBQ. The event is designed to bring people together, support wellbeing and showcase the fantastic work taking place across our local area.

Entertainment will begin from 12:00pm with dancing performances, and we are currently working to confirm additional acts and activities. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for further announcements as we build an exciting programme for the day.

We recognise that busy events can sometimes feel overwhelming, so a Low Arousal Quiet Space will be available in the Choir Vestry throughout the day. This calm area is open to anyone who would like a quieter environment to relax and recharge.
